{"id":52,"date":"2021-04-10T18:40:07","date_gmt":"2021-04-10T18:40:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/awpuk.org\/?page_id=52"},"modified":"2025-07-07T11:52:49","modified_gmt":"2025-07-07T11:52:49","slug":"party-program","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/awpuk.org\/?page_id=52","title":{"rendered":"Party Program"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The State will take the primary responsibility of organizing and planning the country\u2019s economy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Major industries, including those run by the military, will be nationalized and placed under the control of a democratic state.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The party will resist imperialist aggression against our people in all its manifestations: be they drone strikes, multinational capital or austerity measures imposed by the IMF and World Bank.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Privatization policy will be immediately stopped, all privatized industries will be re-nationalized and sacked employees will be re-instated.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The democratic right of workers to form trade unions will be recognized and protected as part of the state\u2019s policy of democratizing the workplace and improving working conditions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Radical land reforms will be immediately implemented and land will be redistributed among the peasantry to break the political and social power of big land owning families.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Will fundamentally change the state\u2019s hostile policy towards neighbouring countries, which has been used to justify the military establishment\u2019s economic and political power.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The party recognizes that the question of women liberation has received inadequate attention.
